Medium Voltage (MV) installations demand specialist knowledge, certified personnel and strict compliance with safety regulations. We take projects from design and permitting through construction, testing and connection to the HEDNO network, for customer substations, private MV networks and generation plants.
Discuss your projectAn MV project usually comprises the substation or kiosk with its transformer, MV switchgear, earthing, Low Voltage panels and the connection line to the distribution network. Each element is designed to cover the load, short-circuit levels and protection needs of the customer.
We coordinate with HEDNO on the final connection offer, connection-point specifications, inspections and final energisation, reducing the risk of delays and redesign.
Work on Medium Voltage is carried out only by trained personnel following safety procedures. We also offer preventive maintenance programmes for substations to limit faults and unplanned outages.
